ENHANCEMENTS

The enhancement project for our section of the beach was completed in March at no cost to the association. Plants, which include sea oats and other native species, will be used to help build up sand dunes along the beach. This aids in the prevention of erosion, which could eventually become detrimental to our property.

Oil and The Resort

Tropical Storm Blows Oil Away From Florida. Officials said favorable winds should continue to push the bulk of the oil away from the Panama City Beach Area. Panama City Beach continues to welcome visitors to enjoy our destination. Our sugary white sand beaches and emerald blue waters are open for the enjoyment of our guests.

With the opening of the new Northwest FL Beaches INTL Airport, Bay County will immediately have three air carriers ready to ferry passengers: Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection.

TROPICAL BREEZE IS EXPECTING...?!

It's true! Well... sort of. A local sea turtle enjoyed the resort so much, she has decided to call it home and welcome her new babies on Tropical Breeze's beaches! To accommodate the pending arrivals, the resort has moved our volleyball net, and all nests laid on our beaches will be left in place until approximately incubation day 50--to give the embryos time to develop and hopefully achieve imprinting with their natal beach. Also, research shows that the eggs are likely less vulnerable to mortality induced by movement once the embryos are fully developed. When the eggs reach 50 days of incubation, they will be placed into coolers for air transport to east coast hatcheries. But until then, Tropical Breeze is happy to accommodate our new guests!
