POOL GETS A "FACE LIFT..."

The staff have been busy in the last few months! Not only have they purchased brand new patio furniture and umbrellas, but also removed the rusty poles and updated the lighting in the pool area; dressed up the pool rest rooms with fresh paint and ceramic tiles; and most importantly, installed a more eco-friendly pool system!

GALVESTON

Oil and The Resort

We have had many challenges dealing with the oil spill but our staff is working very diligently to keep the resort in pristine shape. We will continue to try and make your stay with us the best ever and enjoy new adventures on the island.

As of this date the air is clear and we are not getting any unpleasant oil smell. Area restaurants are open and Galveston is still a nice place to vacation.

BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

The island is coming back stronger and better since Hurricane Ike. Several locally owned businesses in Galveston have been renovated. Murdochs has been rebuilt from the water up and they are celebrating their 100th birthday this year. Miller's Landing restaurant has also been totally rebuilt and the food is better than ever! Reconstruction on the pocket park near the resort continues and is expected to be completed in late 2010. And, turning tragedy into art, local artists are creating beautiful statues from old oak trees damaged by the hurricane.
